WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A Luzerne County man is now charged with homicide in the stabbing death of his 17-year-old relative.
Milton Clark was arraigned this morning in District Court. Investigators say he stabbed Tarese Previlon at a home on Holland Street on April 23rd.
The Coroner says Previlon died several weeks later due to complications from a stab wound to the heart.
Court documents say the teen’s mother saw Clark peeping at her as she took a bath. She called her son for help and a fight broke out between Clark and the teen. Clark claims the stabbing was in self-defense.
“I’m innocent until proven guilty in a court of law,” Milton Clark said. “He tried to hurt me. My nephew is 18-years-old, do, therefore, I did what I had to do to protect myself. So he tried to hurt me on several occasions since my arrival.”
