The event is scheduled to start at 12:45.
An estimated 3000 people are here to  listen to what Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden have to say. They were supposed to make a campaign stop here last month but canceled the event out of respect for the Dallas police officers who were killed in an ambush. Scranton is considered home turf for both Clinton and Biden. Biden was born in Scranton and Clinton’s father Huge Rodham -was from Scranton. Pennsylvania is a key battle ground state. Recent polls have Clinton ahead of republican Donald Trump by as many as 10 points. Clinton is expected to talk about strengthening the economy for working class families. She is also expected to once again argue that Donald Trump does not have temperament to be the president.

There are also protestors outside the sports complex. They insist that Clinton is not ready to be president.. They argue that she cannot be trusted.
