Hazleton Area High School Celebrates School Spirit and Begins Rachel’s Challenge


(WBRE/WYOU-TV) Hazleton Area High School kicked off Rachel’s Challenge by celebrating their students and school on Friday.

 They celebrated the successes of  Hazleton Area students.  The event is named in honor of Rachel Scott the first student killed in the Columbine High School.  

  Rachel’s challenge involves five challenges, which include looking for the best in others, dreaming big, choosing positive influences, speaking with kindness and starting your own chain reaction.

 The  event kicked off the kindness challenge in the school
