JACKSON TOWNSHIP, MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) – It isn’t a pizza delivery; it’s not flowers either.
A delivery service called ‘Hungry? We Deliver’ teamed up with Mountain View Vineyard, Winery & Distillery in Jackson Township so you can have wine and spirits delivered right to your door.
“So they can say ‘I wish I could have had wine here, we got guests. Hey, lets call Hungry We Deliver and get a case delivered,” says Richard Infante, President & CEO of Hungry? We Deliver.
Shanel Garrison’s friends surprised her with an order in East Stroudsburg.
“To put a smile on my face…. and I guess it worked!” laughs Garrison.
The service launched just in time for the holidays.
“We’re a convenient society right now. It’s so much easier to have things delivered to your house instead of having to go out and get it. People are too busy right now,” says Kim Watson, staff member of Mountain View Vineyard, Winery & Distillery.
If you’re not into wine or spirits, there’s another alcoholic option at your convenience: beer.
Shoppers can simply place an order with Brewskies Beverage in East Stroudsburg. ‘Hungry? We Deliver’ then picks it up and delivers it to your door.
“It’s a new concept,” Infante adds.
The delivery fee for wine and spirits costs between seven and ten dollars. ‘Hungry? We Deliver” runs throughout Monroe County.
