(WBRE/WYOU)  The Commonwealth will have two visits from prominent figures on both sides of the race for the White House.

Democratic Vice Presidential Candidate Tim kKaine will make campaign stops in Pennsylvania on Tuesday.
 
  
    Today Kaine heads to Erie where he’ll rally support for presidential nominee Hillary Clinton at the Bayfront convention center at 1 PM Tuesday afternoon.


    Kaine will lay out the stakes of November’s election and his and Clinton’s vision of an America that is stronger together.


    He will then head to Lancaster this evening to speak at the local boys and girls club at 6.  Doors open at 4.

This comes as republican nominee Donald Trump is closing the gap against Clinton. 

A new NBC poll out today shows her lead sitting at only six points — 48 percent to trump’s 42 percent.

That’s compared to eight points a week ago. The latest poll out today was conducted over the past week

Trump will employ the help of a family member to open a campaign office in Lackawanna County Tuesday
 

His son Eric Trump will be at the grand opening in Clarks Summit at 4:15 on Tuesday.

  The event at the new county office will highlight grassroots opportunities with the campaign for supporters in our area.  A campaign senior advisor says the campaign is encouraged by their results closing the gap on Hillary Clinton here in Pennsylvania.
