Two Program Reminders to Pass Along!       This Sunday, September 11,  Newsmakers from Your Local Election Headquarters will feature a look at the races and issues important to you in the upcoming election. Jayne Ann Bugda and Andy Mehalshick will be joined by David Sosar and David Yonki. The program airs at 11 am on WBRE and then again on WYOU at 11:30 am.

  Then on Newsmakers- the Public Affairs Edition, the focus will be on the Family Service Association of Northeast PA.   The panel will include Attorney Jenny Roberts, Assistant District Attorney -Luzerne County Special Victim’s Unit; Jessica Ives, FSA Case Management and Community Program Supervisor and Michael Zimmerman- CEO Family Service Association of NEPA

 They will discuss upcoming family week conference. The topic this year is human trafficking. The panel will join Andy and Jayne Ann to talk about the growing concern in our communities. This program airs on Sunday September 11 on WYOU at 6:30 am and then at 11:30 am on WBRE.

Bloomsburg University hosts Clarion for the Huskies home opener  with a kickoff scheduled for 3pm….

2. East Stroudsburg university also starts their home season by hosting IUP at 6:05pm…..ESU is 1-0 on the season.

3. Penn state 1 and 0 travels to 1 and o Pittsburgh for a noon kickoff.

4. Notre Dame tries to bounce back after a tough loss at Texas by hosting Nevada at 3:30 on NBC….

 Hazleton FUNFEST 2016 is this weekend September 10 and 11 in downtown Hazleton!

The Hazleton Fire Department will mark the 15th Anniversary of the September 11th attacks with a special ceremony on Saturday.

St. Paul’s Episcopal in Wellsboro will host its 53rd Antique Show and Sale on Saturday, October 1, 2016 from 10 AM to 3:30 PM.   

 

The Howetown Farm Show will be held on September 24 – 25, 2016

 The event will run from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. on both days
