Program Reminder: Newsmakers will focus on Alzheimer Disease Awareness this Sunday, October 14.  The monthly public affairs show is hosted by Jayne Ann Bugda and Andy Mehalshick. 

 Bugda and Mehalshick will be joined by Clay Jacobs, Vice President of Programs and Services Alzheimer's Association- Greater PA Chapter and Ryan Schofield, Constituent Events Manager Alzheimer's Association- Greater PA Chapter.

   According to the Alzheimer’s Association, an estimated 5.7 million Americans of all ages are living with Alzheimer's dementia in 2018. They will discuss the latest medical developments concerning the disease and will talk about the support and services that are available locally for families who have a loved one with Alzheimer Disease.   

Jacobs and Schofield will also focus on how the community can get involved in awareness and fundraising for the local chapter.   

Newsmakers will air Sunday, October 14 at 6:30 am on WYOU and 11:30 am on WBRE.

 

 

Newsmakers from Your Local Election Headquarters will feature the candidates for United State Congress in the newly formed 12th Congressional District.

Jayne Ann Bugda and Andy Mehalshick will interview Republican Congressman Tom Marino and Democratic Candidate Marc Friedenberg. 

 The interviews will be followed by a segment with Political Analysts David Yonki, Dr. David Sosar, and Attorney Chris Cullen.

Newsmakers from Your Local Election Headquarters will air  Saturday, October 13 at 11:30 am on WYOU.

Join Dennis Owens for Sunday's 'This Week in Pennsylvania  Pennsylvanians are heading to the polls in three weeks with a newly drawn congressional map in effect Several districts with a history of going red are suddenly turned blue. or close to turning blue. Pennsylvania Republican Chair Val Digiorgio..and PA Democratic chair Nancy Patton Mills have differing views on how the new map is impacting the election...
