The Scranton Saint Patrick’s Day Parade is Saturday, March 9th! You can watch it live on WYOU at Noon or streaming live here on PAHomepage. Candice Kelly and Mark Hiller along with Nick Toma will be your guides to fun! Look for members of the Eyewitness News team they will be walking in the parade!
And on March 10, Sunday! Wilkes-Barre’s Saint Patrick’s Day Parade at 2 pm.
Program Reminder! Three area police chiefs will talk about the challenges and concerns they face every day protecting our communities on this Sunday’s Newsmakers. The monthly public affairs program is hosted by Jayne Ann Bugda and Andy Mehalshick. Joining Bugda and Mehalshick will be Hazleton Police Chief Jerry Speziale, Scranton Police Chief Carl Graziano, and Locust Township, Columbia County Police Chief Allen Breach. They will talk about public safety, the role of social media and how the public can help them fight crime. Newsmakers will air Sunday, March 10 at 6:30 am on WYOU and 11:30 am on WBRE.

* Cantores Christi Regis, the King’s College all-student choral ensemble, will perform its 17th annual spring concert 7:30 p.m. on Friday, March 29, and Saturday, March 30, in the Chapel of Christ the King. The concert is free and open to the public.
* Soldiers of the Pennsylvania Army National Guard will be holding its Second Annual King of Battle Dodgeball Tournament on March 9, to help raise money for local veterans at the Wilkes Barre VA’s Substance Abuse Recovery and Rehabilitation Treatment Program (SARRTP).
*The Susquehanna Valley Chorale (SVC) will present Karl Jenkins’ The Peacemakers on Sunday, March 17 at 3 p.m. at the Weis Center for the Performing Arts at Bucknell University.
