 Outreach Center for Community Resources is the focus of this Sunday’s Newsmakers.  The monthly Public Affairs program is hosted by Jayne Ann Bugda and Andy Mehalshick.  

     Bugda and Mehalshick will be joined by Linda Ciampi, Executive Director of Outreach, Carlene Nicholas, Programs Manager of Early Childhood Home Visiting Programs, Jennifer Shoemaker, L.E.A.D. Manager, and Kelly Kareka, Early Head Start Program Participant.  Outreach has been part of Lackawanna County for 30 years formerly known as EOTC. The panel will discuss Outreach’s many programs and services from parenting programs to help in finding a job.   Newsmakers will air Sunday, April 14 at 6:30 am on WYOU and 11:30 am on WBRE.

Join Dennis Owens for Sunday’s ‘This Week in Pennsylvania are there too many licenses required for Pennsylvania jobs? At least one state lawmaker thinks so.  Republican State Rep. Andrew Lewis has authored the Fighting Chance Act Which he says will cut a lot of occupational red tape.. That Pennsylvania has but many other states don’t.. That prevent people from working jobs they want to work… He explained it on this week in Pennsylvania.
