HARRISBURG, DAUPHIN COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) – A foundation that provides financial assistance to fallen first responders is reaching out to the family of a deputy U.S. marshal killed in Harrisburg Thursday.
The Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation announced on Friday that is has launched a campaign to pay off Deputy U.S. Marshal Christopher Hill’s mortgage. The foundation will start by making a $100,000 donation.

Hill, an 11-year veteran of the U.S. Marshals Service, was shot and killed while serving an arrest warrant with the agency’s a fugitive task force in Harrisburg early Thursday.
He is survived by his wife and two children.
