WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE  COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) – Former Vice President Joe Biden will make a quick campaign visit to northeast Pennsylvania this coming weekend, just two days ahead of the November mid-term elections.

Biden is expected to visit Luzerne County on Sunday to campaign for incumbent U.S. Senator Bob Casey and incumbent Representative Matt Cartwright who’s running in the newly re-formed 8th Congressional District.

Details of the visit by the Scranton native are still to be released.

Biden’s campaign stop comes on the heels of last week’s visits by Vice President Mike Pence and President Donald Trump’s son Eric who were campaigning for 8th district Republican candidate John Chrin.
