Former Principal Pleads Guilty

  LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) A local councilman, and former principal has pleaded guilty to child endangerment charges.
 
   Frank Michaels, Forty Fort councilman, and former Coughlin High School principal,  was accused of lying under oath during the trial of Stephen Stahl.


      Stahl  was found guilty in 2015 of corruption of minor after having an inappropriate relationship with a student.
   

Michaels testified he had no knowledge about Stahl and the student, more than a decade ago.


    But witnesses testified otherwise… Indicating Michaels was aware of the relationship.

    Michaels faces up to seven years in prison.

      His sentencing is in November.
