SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU-TV) Cyber School Students logged off their computers Friday for a hands-on lesson in Scranton.
 
It’s “National Model Railroad Month” and students from  “Reach Cyber Charter School ” are celebrated with a visit to the “Steamtown National Historic Site.”
    
 More than 75 students and family members are learning about the  Industrial Heritage of our region and the role of the steam railroad.
 
“We’ve been learning about different steam trains and all about how they work and different types of jobs.” said Jay Doscher, a Seventh Grader
 
“I’ve been learning what the train does, things inside the train and things inside of the trains.” added Payton Hamby, a sixth grader
 
    And a reminder.. it won’t cost you anything to enjoy the national historic site.
