(WBRE/WYOU) – Legendary jazz singer Al Jarreau who won seven Grammys over a 50-year career has died at the age of 76.
According to a statement posted on the singer’s website, Jarreau died in Los Angeles on Sunday. It was posted earlier this week on Twitter that he was retiring after being hospitalized for exhaustion in Los Angeles.
The artist leaves behind his wife Susan and son Ryan.
