Eyewitness News Team Shares Stories for “Read Across America”

KINGSTON, CATAWISSA, STROUDSBURG (WBRE/WYOU) More stories were shared today by members of the Eyewitness News team for “Read Across America.”

Evening anchor Candice Kelly had the pleasure of reading to the students at the Wyoming Valley Montessori.
The entire school gathered to hear the story, “What Pet Should I Get?”
They were great listeners, and Candice said she was honored to be there today.

Lead I-Team reporter Andy Mehalshick stopped by the G.C. Hartman Elementary School in the Southern Columbia School District.
Andy read the book, “Butter Book Battle” by Doctor Seuss.
The kids loved the story and asked a lot of questions.

Meanwhile, Brianna Strunk started her day sharing a story or two at Morey Elementary School in Stroudsburg this morning.
She read “Are You My Mother?”
Brianna said the students were very attentive, and they asked her questions about being a reporter and weekend morning anchor.
