WALLENPAUPACK, PIKE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) – Eric Trump, President Donald Trump’s second son, hit the campaign trail in northeast Pennsylvania Tuesday for 8th Congressional Republican candidate John Chrin.

Trump started early at the Wallenpaupack Sports Shop where he talked to several dozen Chrin supporters telling them that “if the army of Trump goes out to vote, we will win this thing”

Chrin is battling Democrat Representative Matt Crightwright in 8th Congressional district, which got new boundaries during the recent congressional redistricting process.

Later in the day Trump was to speak to Republican faithful at an event in Scranton.

On Wednesday morning, Vice President Mike Pence will campaign for Chrin at a brief stop in Forty-Fort.
