Early Morning Car Chase in Scranton; Old Forge Man in Custody

SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) State Police tell Eyewitness News a chase through Scranton ended with a car crashing into a home.


According to  troopers  they spotted a car driving fast and blowing through a stop sign in the city.


  When they tried to pull the driver over, he kept going, running more stop signs.


   The car chase stopped when it hit a home on 900 block of Harrison avenue.


   After the crash the driver tried to run.

Troopers took 24 year-old Timothy Solsman from Old Forge into custody.   He’s charged with a variety of crimes.
