(WBRE/WYOU-TV) Dozens of homes are impacted by a water main break in Luzerne County.

Crews from PA American Water  are working to fix the problem — affecting about 60 homes.  This started around  8:30 Thursday morning.

As a result, customers in your area will experience no water, low pressure and discolored water.  Customers impacted are along Hanover village, Covel Street, East Divison from South Main Street to Solomon Creek, Cherry Street, Ashley Lane. Schuler Street, Andover Street, Vine Street, and Strauss Lane.

Repairs are expected to take 9 hours before water service is back to normal.

When service is restored, customers may experience cloudy and or discolored water.

If your water is discolored, wait until it runs clear before using.
