Dog Abuse Charges Filed Against Monroe County Man

News

MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) A man is facing jail time after neighbors caught him abusing a dog.

A judge sentenced Joseph Vitale to 30 days in jail and 750 dollars in fines plus court costs after he was caught on camera abusing the animal.

The dog was never found, and “Hound Hunters of NEPA” believe Vitale may have injured or killed the dog, then dumped it somewhere.

Pennsylvania State Police never recovered information from Vitale and he did not show up in court for the case.
