EAST STROUDSBURG, MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU)- The Coroner’s Office says Richard Labar, 58, died Tuesday night after being shot near East Stroudsburg University.

State police say early Monday morning, Carolina Carmona, 30, ordered a pizza from Domino’s to be delivered to the National Guard Recruiting Center the university. Labar was the delivery driver that night, and no idea Carmona and her boyfriend, Israel Berrios, 17, were setting him up.

Officials say when Labar showed up, Salvador Roberts, 21, came out of the pushes and pointed a shotgun at Labar and demanded money. Labar said he didn’t have any and tried to take the shotgun. After a struggle, Berrios allegedly shot him in the face and took off with about $100.

All three of the suspects involved are facing charges.
