Dallas Teachers and Students Head Back to Class

News

DALLAS, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) Teachers and students in the Dallas School District are back in class today.
 

Eyewitness News was at Dallas High School Tuesday morning as students walked through the doors once again. 

Educators walked off the job back on the 22nd of September.
The district reached a deal with the teachers union that will allow classes to resume temporarily.
         

Both sides are trying to agree on a long term contract.

 If another stalemate happens teachers say they will walk the picket line again in late November.
