Cub Scouts Help Homeless Pets

News

HAZLETON, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Some Cub Scouts in Luzerne County are learning a powerful lesson about giving back.

The boys with Cub Scout Pack 17 from Hazleton teamed up with Beds 4 Paws.

Paul Kattner started the organization after he found out that some dogs in shelters sleep on the floor.

Normally he works by himself, but Tuesday night he had a few extra hands.

The cub scouts put together at least a dozen dog beds and cat towers for homeless pets.

They will be delivered to Hillside SPCA near Pottsville.

Beds 4 Paws is always looking for more volunteers.  Click here for more information.
