(WBRE/WYOU-TV) Another worker in the Lackawanna County Prison system has been charged with sexual assault – this time a female counselor.
36-year-old Samantha Heinrich of Sweet Valley was charged with two counts of institutional sexual assault.
Investigators say she abused her authority as a counselor at the prison
According to court documents, Heinrich harassed, stalked and sexually assaulted two male inmates over a four year period from 2013.
Last year a grand jury investigation into the sexual abuse at the prison resulted in charges being filed against seven corrections officers accused of abusing female inmates.
