Cody Asher Found Guilty

WILLIAMSPORT, LYCOMING COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) Guilty on three counts.       
      A  jury in  Lycoming County jury found  Cody Asher guilty Thursday afternoon on charges he left a toddler alone with a gun.
 
       Cody Asher walked out of the Lycoming County Courthouse after he was found guilty on endangering a welfare of a child, simple assault, and recklessly endangering another person.
 
     In March of 2015, Asher was with his girlfriend Amanda Fry and her two-year-old son, Zachary Lee, in her Montoursville home.

       When the two were up stairs – Zackary was downstairs and picked up the loaded gun and shot himself in the leg.
       He had surgery and survived.  

      
     Zackary Lee is celebrating his fourth birthday today.
     Cody Asher will be sentenced in November.
