LEHMAN TOWNSHIP, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) – Music brings people together and one local group is trying to spread their love of chamber music to the local community.
Playing in the historic Hayfield House at Penn State Wilkes-Barre, the NEPA Chamber Music Society wants to share their musical talents to keep chamber music alive for all to hear.
“Chamber music tends to be kind of overlooked. Chamber music is much more intimate, it’s great kind of introducing chamber music to local kids and adults alike,” Amy Iwazumi, the co-founder of NEPACMS, said.
The group will be playing a concert at Penn State Wilkes-Barre’s Hayfield House at 7pm on Friday.
