PITTSBURGH, ALLEGHENY COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU-TV) A Pittsburgh Cardinal’s name will be removed from a Catholic School.
Both the school board and the city’s diocese voted to remove Cardinal Donal Wuerl’s name from the school.
Vandals already spray painted a line through his name on the school’s sign earlier this week.
Pennsylvania’s Attorney General accuses Cardinal Wuerl and Bishop David Zubik of protecting child predators.
A nearby church where Wuerl served in the 1960’s is also removing his name from its hall.
