Lansford, Carbon County – A boy was rescued Wednesday, after nearly drowning in a public pool.
The 8-year-old was at the Lansford Community Pool.
Police say they responded just after 2:30 p.m., and found life guards and other personnel providing aid to the boy.
Officers say the child was transported to St. Lukes Miners Campus in Coaldale, and then flown to Lehigh Valley Hospital/Cedar Crest.
Police issued a release Wednesday night, saying the victim was “reported to be doing well” at that point.
