(WBRE/WYOU-TV) The Freeland Municipal Authority is issuing a Water Boil Advisory effective immediately.
This is a precautionary measure due to a disinfection equipment failure.
They advise do not drink the water without first boiling it.
Bring all water to a boil, let it boil for 1 minute and let it cool before using it or use bottled water.
Boiled or bottled water should be used for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes and food preparation until further notice.
You will be informed when the water boil advisory is lifted.
