Bloomsburg Police look for hit & run driver in Saturday incident

BLOOMSBURG, COLUMBIA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) – Bloomsburg police are looking for the driver of a vehicle shich struck two women early Saturday morning.

Oficers were sent to the intersection of East Main Street and Iron Street just before one o’clock Saturday morning for a report that a pedestrian had been struck be a car.

When they arrived on scene, the vehicle involved fled the scene.

Both women were treated and released for minor injuries at the Danville and Bloomsburg Geisinger Hospitals Sunday morning.

Police are trying to find a white, two-door Honda Civic which struck the two women.

They say the driver seemed to be a white female with short to mid-length brown hair.
