BLOOMBSURG, COLUMBIA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU-TV) The Bloomsburg Fair is finally underway.. and all week long — “Eyewitness News” is bringing you the “Best of Bloomsburg.”
Our Kristina Shalhoup is the lucky member of our team checking out the sights.. sounds.. and smells.
Even at the crack of dawn, as most of us were waking up, the Bloomsburg Fair was ready for action… People, and animals alike.
“Some of these chickens have probably been to more fairs than most of us! They go every week to get judged and show.”
Said Randy Karschner, Fair Director.
But if the crow of a rooster isn’t quite the right alarm for you, maybe a musical act, like Dan and Galla, will do the trick.
“We do 50s, 60s, country… We do hula-hoops! We have a bunch of hula-hoops that the kids do.” said Dan and Galla Crosser, musical act
All about a tune, and a good time, they’re no strangers to Bloomsburg… Bringing their talents here year after year, they aim to please for every age.
“It’s so family friendly, and that’s what we like about it… Family-friendly… And people come for generations!” said Dan and Galla Crosser, musical act.
If not for the music, definitely for the food.
“They look at it and they’re like oh my gosh I can never eat that… So they get one and they come back by and they’re like, that was amazing!” noted Jeremy Evans, Incredible Popcorn
And perhaps the icing on the cotton-candy burrito… A final wow-factor to top off all the activities…
You can always head down to see the Rhinestone Roper show for some edge-of-your-seat cowboy stunts.
“You can hear a gasp in the audience! He’s gonna, he’s really gonna, oh, oh! So they’ll be talking about what they see in the audience here this year until they come next year!” said Dan Mink, Rhinestone Roper Show.
PA LIVE is live at the fair Monday at 4 pm
