KINGSTON, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — The U.S. Women’s Field Hockey Team remains unbeaten in the Olympics after defeating India 3 to 0 Thursday night.

Three of those women are from Luzerne County, and they are on a quest to bring home a gold medal.

Current players and coaches attended a watch party to cheer on Team U.S.A. at Wyoming Seminary Upper School in Kingston.

Former Wyoming Seminary teammates and first-time Olympians Kelsey Kolojejchick and Kat Sharkey are on the 16-player roster.

Dallas graduate Paige Selenski, who was on the 2012 Olympic team, is one of two alternates.

The U.S. Women’s Field Hockey Team has improved to 4-0 and will play Britain on Saturday.  The team already had clinched a slot in the quarterfinals.
