HONG KONG (WBRE/WYOU) — Thousands of people gathered in Hong Kong to remember China’s bloody response to pro-democracy activists in Tiananmen Square 30 years ago.
Tens of thousands of people quietly came together in Victoria Park and held candles. They listened to music and held a minute of silence for the hundreds, possibly thousands of victims killed in Tiananmen Square.
The vigil has been an annual event in Hong Kong.
