All Clear Given After Threat at PSU

STATE COLLEGE, CENTRE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) Officials have given an all clear after a bomb threat at Penn State.University Park.

An unidentified man called police from the library demanding $20-thousand to support his meth addiction or he would use a pipe bomb to blow up a bus.

The man told the dispatcher he was high and had a .44 magnum in his possession.

Beaver Avenue was shut down for several blocks as police worked to clear the scene.

An alert was sent out to Penn State students, cautioning them to avoid the area.no bomb was ever found.
