WILKES-BARRE , LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) – A fundraiser tonight in Luzerne County aimed to showcase some local talent.
The Ali Baba Lounge in Wilkes-Barre hosted “Ali Baba Live.”
It was a live concert from six to nine.
All ages were welcome at the event which featured several local artists.
The proceeds from today’s event benefit the Heights “Junior Grenadiers” Football team.
Jahlel Owens, the team’s head coach, said “We dedicate our time to do what we can and it keeps the kids out of the streets, out of trouble and gives them something to do.”
A ten dollar donation at the door goes towards equipment and a banquet for the team.
