(WBRE/WYOU-TV) UPDATE: Fifty-seven people have to find another place to stay after a fire Friday afternoon in Wilkes-Barre.
Flames broke out just after 12 o’clock at the Sherman Hills Apartment complex.
Two people were injured in the fire.
Their injuries are not considered life-threatening the fire chief says the fire is accidental. The American Red Cross is helping those displaced by the fire,

Fire and emergency crews from Wilkes-Barre and surrounding areas are on the scene of a fire at the Sherman Hills Apartment Complex.
According to the Wilkes-Barre Fire Chief 56 people are impacted by the fire.
There were called to the scene after shortly after noon,
No word on the cause of the fire,
Several people are being checked at the scene by emergency crews.
