The Importance of Being Earnest – – The University of Scranton Players will conclude their 2015-16 season with performances of “The Importance of Being Earnest” by Oscar Wilde, directed by Jennifer Rhoads, guest artist, Friday through Sunday, April 29-30, May 1 and May 6-8. Performances begin at 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and at 2 p.m. on Sunday in the Joseph M. McDade Center for Literary and Performing Arts on the University’s campus.
“The Importance of Being Earnest” follows two friends, John Worthing and Algernon Moncrieff, on a wild adventure from city to country and explores the ideas of mistaken identity and love in the Victorian era.
General admission tickets are $10. Tickets are $7 for students, children, senior citizens and University of Scranton faculty and staff.
