You’re invited to be part of the 21st Annual Woolly Worm Festival, October 14, 2017 at Hufnagle Park in Lewisburg.
The fun will kick off at 9:30 a.m. with music by the Lewisburg High School Marching Band.
The Winter Weather Prognostication Ceremony will be held at 12:30 p.m. this year by a panel of our own experts and with M.C. and festival founder Mike Glazer at the helm.
You will see a team of highly skilled worm readers measure, weigh and analyze the little furry creatures in an attempt to predict the upcoming weather.
These little guys are to winter as Punxsutawney Phil is to the spring!
There will be food, Woolly Worm races (bring your own worm if you’d like), a magic show, puppet show, reptile show, Bounce House and games. This is an event for the whole family!!
This event is coordinated by the Kiwanis Club of Buffalo Valley/Lewisburg and proceeds are used to benefit the charities supported by our club throughout the Susquehanna Valley.
