Mobile Health of Evangelical brings preventive and primary care services directly into the communities surrounding the Hospital and beyond. A variety of services are offered on the 38-foot-bus throughout the area. For September, upcoming locations are as follows:

Snyder County

  • Monday, September 10, 9 am-2 pm, family health visits at the Port Trevorton Maintenance Building, 759 Old Trail Road, Port Trevorton. Physician fees apply. Call 570-473-0545 for appointments.

Montour County

  • Wednesday, September 12, 7-11 am, comprehensive blood screening at Burkholder’s Farm Market, 1653 Continental Boulevard, Washingtonville. Fee: $40. Call 570-768-3200 for appointments.
  • Wednesday, September 19, 9 am-2 pm, family health visits at Burkholder’s Farm Market, 1653 Continental Boulevard, Washingtonville. Physician fees apply. Call 570-473-0545 for appointments.
  • Monday, September 24, 9 am-2 pm, women’s health visits at the North Haven AG Center, 307 Elysburg Road, Danville. Physician fees apply. Call 570-523-8700 for appointments.

Mobile Health of Evangelical was introduced in 2018 as a new service of Evangelical Community Hospital to increase access to healthcare in the more rural communities of the Susquehanna Valley. An extension of the Hospital, the bus provides space for comprehensive blood screenings, free health screens, wellness education outreach, and specialty care such as primary, women’s health, and cardiac visits.
