Are you uplifted by the sound of organ music you hear in church?
Have you ever wondered how this instrument is played and what makes it work?
The Pennsylvania Northeast Chapter of the American Guild of Organists (AGO) is conducting its tenth “Pedals, Pipes, and Pizza” program for children and adults on Sunday, October 14, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Saint Luke’s Episcopal Church, 232 Wyoming Avenue in Scranton.
Children and adults who play the piano or organ are invited to bring a piece to play on the church’s newly rebuilt pipe organ.
Pizza will be served at the end of the day’s activities. All are welcome to attend this event, which is free and open to the public.
