Save the Date: On Sunday, May 1, Homes for the Troops group will work on a home for SFC Roberto Reyes.
On January 26, 2005 during his second deployment while moving with A Company, 1-8 CAV, 1st Cavalry Division in Baghdad, Army SPC Roberto (Robert) Reyes Jr. was ejected 20-feet in the air from his vehicle after it was struck by an improvised explosive device (IED). The impact of his fall and shrapnel
imbedded in his head from the explosion resulted in severe traumatic brain injury (TBI) and partial paralysis.
Now Homes for Our Troops will be working on a home for Army SPC Robert Reyes.
Everyone will receive an HFOT volunteer T-shirt and following the work, lunch will be provided.
Please come dressed and ready to get your hands dirty!
