CoreLife Eatery to offer free meals to local first responders

CoreLife Eatery is extending its gratitude to local first responders after a tornado left a trail of destruction through northeastern Pennsylvania Wednesday night. CoreLife Eatery, an active lifestyle restaurant offering a variety of greens, grains and broth-based dishes will offer free meals to first responders at its Wilkes-Barre store from Thursday, June 14th through Saturday, June 16th. The Wilkes-Barre eatery is located at 33 Bear Creek Boulevard.

“Our first responders are dealing with unbelievable damage as the result of this tornado,” co-founder Todd Mansfield said. “They’re working long hours, doing important and difficult work in order to restore the Wilkes-Barre community to normalcy as quickly as possible. Helping to keep those brave men and women well nourished during this chaotic time is truly our pleasure.”

CoreLife Eatery offers a wide variety of fresh ingredients that are transformed into custom-created dishes. All foods are free of trans fats, artificial colors, sweeteners, other artificial additives and GMO’s. The chicken and steak used are sustainably raised and never given antibiotics or hormones, and the bone broth is slow simmered all day for maximum taste and nutrition.
