The RailRiders out-hit the Bats 6-4, but two sacrifice flies were enough for Louisville to emerge victorious.

Rookie Liam Hendriks had a quality start, and Jeff Bailey drove in three runs to lead the Red Wings over the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees 6-3 Sunday night at Frontier Field.
Hendriks gave three runs in the first inning of his last start July 26 in Louisville, then settled down to post his first Triple-A win. On Sunday, Hendriks gave up a one out, two-run single to Jorge Vazquez as the Yankees took a 2-0 lead.
But Hendriks' teammates quickly erased the deficit in the Rochester half of the first. Mike Hollimon and Brian Dinkelman hit one-out singles off D.J. Mitchell, and Bailey followed with a home run to center field to give the Wings a 3-2 lead. It was Bailey's ninth homer of the season.
Rene Rivera and Toby Gardenhire both ripped back-to-back, one-out singles to create a scoring threat for the Wings in the second inning. Denard Span grounded out but advanced the runners on a fielder's choice for the second out of the inning. They were left stranded when Hollimon flew out to end the inning.
With two outs and two men on base in the third inning Chase Lambin helped pad the Wings lead with a towering three-run home run to give Rochester a 6-2 advantage.
For the second night in a row the Bisons went into the late innings with a chance for a win, but for the second night in a row a late Yankees home run beat them. Jorge Vazquez' home run didn't leave the park in a rocket ship but it counted all the same.
The Home run bounced off the top of the wall in right field giving Scranton/Wilkes-Barre a 4-3 lead in the eighth inning. The Bisons dropped their third game in a row 6-3 against the Yankees at Coca-Cola Field.

Clippers starter Justin Germano allowed three runs in the 2nd inning and Columbus never recovered. Gustavo Molina drove home Jordan Parraz and Kevin Russo provided a two-run double to cap the inning.

The Mud Hens rallied back from a 6-1 deficit and defeated the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees, 7-6, in an 11 inning thriller on Sunday night. Jeff Salazar went 3-5 with two RBI and provided a game-tying, two out, solo homerun in the ninth. Danny Worth gave the Hens the win when he worked a bases-loaded walk in the 11th.
