Update: Active Shooter Report in Berwick

No Shooter in Berwick: Reports of an "Active Shooter" at a Berwick business early this morning had police and residents scrambling.
Berwick, Columbia County- Reports of an "Active Shooter" at a Berwick business early this morning had police and residents scrambling.   Turns out there was nothing to the report.
Police tell Eyewitness News, a concerned call came in about "a shooter"  from someone who identified himself  as a potential "victim".
Police  arrived at the Offray Ribbon Plant at the intersection of Susquehanna Avenue and Mercer Street in Berwick early Thursday morning.
Employees who arrived for work around 5am,  were forced to wait outside, while police surrounded the building.
Eventually, police went to the Berick Industrial Development Association, where they tell us, they found a door forced open and a phone stolen.
Back at the original scene, neighbors were terrified.
Although a scary situation this morning, Berwick Police Chief Ken Strish confirmed to Eyewitness News  those reports were unfounded...
Employees were let back into the plant and any  roads originally closed were reopened.
