A number of events are planned on campus
Bloomsburg University will observe Constitution Day from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 17. Events include the game show, Who Wants to be a Constitutional Scholar; a showing of The War Room, a documentary about former President Bill Clinton’s 1992 campaign; and a presentation, Environmental Law: How Regulations Come to Pass as Part of Federal Bills by Kate Gibbons of Penn Future. Constitution Day, sponsored by The American Democracy Project, will open a series of BU programs about democracy in the U.S. and worldwide. ·  Writer Ann Michael will share her poetry during a reading at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 18, in the Moose Exchange, 203 W. Main St., Bloomsburg. The reading will kick off the new season of Bloomsburg University’s Big Dog Reading Series, sponsored by BU’s English department and the Center for Visual and Performing Arts, part of the College of Liberal Arts. ·  A blood drive will be held from 1 to 7 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, Sept. 17 and 18, in Bloomsburg University’s Kehr Union, Ballroom. The blood drive is sponsored by BU’s Greek Life. Call 1-800 Red-Cross or go to www.redcross.org to schedule an appointment.
