The Misericordia University Dead Alchemist Society is planning to present an expanded spectacle for the student organization’s 22nd annual “Things that go Boom in the Night!’’ on Wednesday, Oct. 30 at 7 p.m. in the Wells Fargo Amphitheater on campus. The event is open free to the public.
This season’s popular event features new experiments, table-making slime, pumpkin makeovers and vomiting and fiery pumpkins. Misericordia students in the Dead Alchemist Society will also offer new and expanded activities for children, including hands-on experiments with children making slime and super bouncy balls.
Parents are encouraged to dress their children in Halloween outfits for the visit to campus, as MU students will have candy bags available for campus guests.
In case of inclement weather, the annual event will be held in room 206 of Hafey-McCormick Science Hall. For more information about the 22nd annual “Things that go Boom in the Night!’’ event at Misericordia University, please call Anna Fedor, Ph.D., assistant professor of chemistry and biochemistry, at (570) 674-6769 or e-mail her at afedor@misericordia.edu.
