Thieves Hit Berwick Store, Owner Offers Unique Reward

The owner of a tattoo shop in Columbia County is offering a unique reward after his business is broken into
Berwick, Columbia County - Brandon George, who owns Permanently Scarred Tattoos in Berwick, got quite a shock when he came into work on Thursday.

"As soon as I pulled up I knew I got robbed," George told Eyewitness News. "I got here this morning and my door was smashed out. I walked in and there was glass all over the place."

George had most of the mess cleaned up on Thursday night.

Sometime late Wednesday night, or early Thursday morning, at least one person broke into the shop and took thousands of dollars worth of electronics. George said the most noteworthy thing stolen was a flat screen television.

Instead of waiting around George announced on Facebook he would give anyone with information free tattoos and piercing for life.

"I mean I was upset but it's the truth," he said. "If someone can get me some information that leads to an arrest I'll be glad to hook them up."

Already his comments have got quite the response on Facebook, and it has people talking.

"That would definitely help me," Anna Dent, a Catawissa resident, said. "I love tattoos and piercings and I know a lot of the community loves tattoos and piercings."

"Tattoos are a big thing and I think it will work," Jason Hock, who lives right across from Permanently Scared Tattoos said.

Hock's house was broken into last month, and thieves took a lot of the same things.

Now George just wants answers.

"I just want to know who violated my business and took advantage of my shop," he said.

George said he's ordered an alarm system for his shop to prevent future break ins.
