The Week at Bloomsburg University: September 3, 2013

Here is the line up events and programs at Bloomsburg University:

·  Comedian Derek Gaines will perform at 8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, in Bloomsburg University’s Kehr Union, ballroom. Admission to the program, sponsored by BU’s Program Board, is free to BU students and $3 for the community. Gaines often performs in comedy clubs in Philadelphia and New York City.

·  The Arrive Alive Tour will stop behind Bloomsburg University’s Warren Student Services Center from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 4. The program will offer students and community members the opportunity to experience worst-case scenario driving conditions in the DUI/Distracted Driving Simulator Car. ·  The Graduate Record Examinations (GRE) preparation program at Bloomsburg University will begin Tuesday, Sept. 3. The eight-week program is open to the local community, along with students, faculty and staff. For a $20 fee, participants may take two computerized practice GREs and participate in study groups. ·  The BU Market Street Mile will be held from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 6, starting at Bloomsburg’s Town Park. The annual fundraiser supports BU student athletes in cross country and track and field. For more information and to register, see www.buhu​
