Harrisburg, Dauphin County--- Republican State Representative Tarah Toohil responded Wednesday to a Youtube video that shows her partying with another woman with what appears to be drugs nearby. The video has created quite a stir in northeastern Pennsylvania and raised questions about Toohil's values. Toohil is running for reelection in the 116th District which encompasses much of the Hazleton area. Eyewitness News caught up with her outside the doors of the House of Representatives in Harrisburg. She said, "If you look at the video closely you can see it was made to make it look like I was doing those things. I admit I have made some bad decisions but I stand on my record." We asked her about the apparent presence of marijuana in the video. She replied, "Again look at the picture very closely it is not what it appears to be." Toohil's Democratic opponent Ransom Young denied any involvement in the Youtube video. He said "I am not that kind of person. I would not stoop to doing something like that." The Luzerne County Democratic Party also issued a strongly worded statement denouncing the video.
