Splashin' With Compassion

Polar Plunge hosted by Friends of Shannon McDonough.
“Splashin’ with Compassion” is a unique fundraiser hosted by the Friends of Shannon McDonough. The polar plunge will be held Saturday, February 1 at Montage Mountain from 9 am to 3 pm.
All taking part in the plunge must be 18 years old at the time of event.  All plungers will need to sign a waiver at the event stating they are at least 18 years old.  The cost of the plunge is $35.  You will be plunging into whitewater harbor at the base of the Alpine Run Waterslide Complex at the central hub of Montage Mountain.  It is a pool deep enough to plunge, yet swallow enough to stay above water if you choose.
Costumes are not only encouraged but they are awarded! There will be six costume awards: Best Individual Costume, Best Group Costume, Most Creative Custom, Best Character Costume, Most Elegant Costume, Most Comical Costume.
Plungers will also have an opportunity to win prizes tagged to underwater rings.
If you are not participating in the plunge-join in on the fun by the outdoor fires and enjoy music and DJ’s, Basket Raffles, Face Painting, balloons, and more.  Food and drinks will be available for purchase.
If you are not plunging you do not need to register, but donations are welcome.
