Roughly "275-thousand" Dollars was raised Saturday during an annual event which helps battle breast cancer in Lackawanna county. Thousands" of people crowded downtown Scranton for the annual "Race for the Cure". Survivors and supporters all hit the street to raise money for breast cancer research and support services. Pink was the color of the day all around the Electric City. Runners say they were motivated by the huge crowd. A majority of the money raised from the "Race for the Cure" stays right here in Northeastern Pennsylvania to help pay cancer services and research.
